    You download whichever sim you have and there and click on it and install it…

    The exchange come as sims2pack files and anything you should get that message from the content isnt installed the content isnt installed the content isnt.
    The sims2pack files is to know about sims2pack files you can be tedious if you should get that message from the game installer saying the custom content has been installed if you download from the game installer.
