I’m going to give you a link to a site that lists the cheats that came with each expansion pack, but remember, if you have a newer ep then that cheat may still work with it even if you don’t have the one it came with. Some will, some won’t.
Also, for some people, they have to type the moveobjects on cheat as:
move_objects on
With an underscore between the two words to get it to work. If that’s the case for you then to turn it off type move_objects off when you’re done.
One cheat I use a lot while decorating is:
boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true/false
This cheat allows you to turn objects at an angle.
Another cheat I also use frequently while decorating is:
boolprop snapobjectstogrid false/true
False actually allows you to put things where you want them to go instead of having to fit in the grids and true turns the normal game options back on so you must put things in the grids.
If you combine the moveobjects cheat, the allow45degreeangleofrotation true cheat and the snapobjectstogrid cheat, you can pretty much do whatever you want in decorating.
Keep in mind though that if you have the snapobjectstogrid cheat turned on (false) then it won’t let you put in windows, doors or arches properly — they want to sink into the wall. You must turn this cheat back off (true) to place those objects. But you know the windows with the shutters? How curtains/drapes won’t cover them correctly? If you use the snapobjectstogrid cheat turned on, then zoom in closely and from slightly above, you can put drapes on those windows correctly.
You can also center things like lights and paintings properly over couches, etc. using that cheat.
Here’s the link:
Oh, and if you’re worried about viruses from that link, I used to use Norton and I now use McAfee and neither one ever reported any viruses from simply going to that site to read the cheats — I’ve never actually downloaded from that site though so I can’t swear that would be safe, but definitely reading it’s fine.
Oh, I forgot you asked about the tombstone. Are you talking about the Tombstone of Life & Death that so many people use for cheats? If you turn on the debugging cheats:
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true/false
And then hold the shift key down and click on your sim, you’ll see a lot of options. One of them is Spawn. If you click on that, you’ll see the tombstone of L&D. When you click on that, an actual tombstone ends up sitting on the floor next to your sim. Now you can click on the tombstone and find a lot of options.
In CAS, to get the “hidden” items, you need to turn the debugging cheat on while in Neighborhood view. Then go into Create A Family. I’ve never actually used this cheat, so I’m not sure what you do next, but on the link I gave to you, at the top of the page is the word boolprop. I think if you click on that it explains what to do in CAS.
